Introduction

Cousins Dennis (Herb) Cherry and Heather McClements grew up in Toolangi and Castella, as children and descendants of timber mill owning families, the Lawrences and the Cherrys, and they are related to the Dembys. Their family roots go back to the 1890s in Toolangi and cover a rich period of Toolangi and Castella’s history.
